The Coastline
of Koh Samui
The coastline of the island of Koh Samui measures around 80kms. As you travel along this coast you'll discover many exotic beaches, capes covered in lush greenery, tranquil bays, impressive cliffs, mystic Buddhist temples and shrines.
The southern shoreline attracts the bulk of tourists to the busy but beautiful beaches of Chaweng and Lamai. The northern coast retains more of a tropical charm and laid back atmosphere in which to relax and enjoy.
Samui's beaches are characterized by fine white sands framed by thousands of coconut palms.
It's waters are peaceful and shallow, with most enjoying sandy conditions under foot while wading out. Tidal changes prevent swimming on some beaches at certain times. Tropical Easy Travel has all the information to ensure you choose the right beach at the right time.
