Established as a National Park back in December 1989, it was then the 22nd�National Park of Thailand, Khao Sok is a must see area for anyone interested in wild life and natural beauty.
Caves ,waterfalls, limestone karsts, river systems, gorges and Chieow Laan lake can be viewed and explored with professional guides by land or on elephant��back and by boat while all around are the sights, sounds and scents of wild Thailand at its very best. |

GETTING TO KHAO SOK
Traveling to Khao Sok from Samui takes around 3-4 hours, 2 hours from Krabi, around 2 hours from Suratthani and about the same time from Phuket.

ACCOMMODATION
Accommodation in Khao Sok is limited but interesting and enhances the adventure aspect of this wild region. Choose from tree-house, raft-house (floating houses on Chieow Laan Lake) or bungalow. Be sure to book in advance as limited room numbers are available. |

| Two Day Tour ( Raft House )�
Your accommodation on this tour will be the floating raft houses on the flooded reservoir of Chieow Laan Lake which occupies 165sq.kms at the very heart of the park. From this location you can access sites that would take days to get to by foot. The scenery on and around the lake is spectacular with huge limestone karsts rising from the depths of the lake and soaring skywards to heights of 900 meters.�
